GODDAM OX & HADDONFIELD, ILLINOIS

Split
(12")

Goddam Ox supply a single track written and recorded especially for this release. At first reminiscent of latter day Earth, snail's pace ethereal sun-baked drone with subtle guitars picked out over minimal drumming, slowly progressing without over-loading the senses until turning to more bleak funereal dirge-doom that would likely appeal to fans of Atavist, Monarch or even Corrupted, before a torturous crescendo of noise and feedback.

Haddonfield, Illinois on the other hand offer a completely different prospect. Where Goddam Ox's side could be likened to an untimely death, Haddonfield, Illinois come armed with a soundtrack perfect for an undead holocaust, inspired by the likes of Goblin and Carpenter... Four tracks of industrial-tinged horrorscapes and ambience which suggest that Haddonfield, Illinois would be more than at home scoring for Fulci, Deodato or Hooper.

Mastered by James Plotkin (OLD, Khanate, Phantomsmasher, Khlyst) and pressed on 140g black vinyl.

Ltd. to 300 hand-numbered copies in plain black stickered and numbered sleeves.

IRON FIST OF THE SUN

The Power Of September
(cd-r)

IFOTS presents nine tracks of deeply personal blackened power-electronics. Hypnotically cosmic, druggy, hate-fueled misanthropy; “The Power Of September” deals with genuine loss, jealousy, hatred and vengeance. Fusing intense blasts of harsh electronics with occasional scathing bursts of vocals yet still allowing a few seconds to breathe from time to time before the next onslaught of piercing distortion, feedback and vitriolic venom - file alongside Prurient, Sutcliffe Jugend, Con-Dom or Whitehouse.

Packaged in a gatefold slip-sleeve, pressed on vinyl-effect discs and comes with a bonus second cd-r featuring a 30+min live recording from January 07 and a minimalist composition of noise/drone/electronics.

STUNTCOCK & BBBLOOD

Distorted Grand Quim Opus Split
(cd-r)

Stuntcock is the one-man brainchild of Paul Catten (Murder One, Lazarus Blackstar) and comes in the form of scuzzy harsh noise, obscene and filthy and could be likenedto some of the big players in the Japanoise scene like Masonna. A relative newcomer to noise in comparison to his split release counterpart BBBlood and bound to piss off the metal kids but as always Paul displays an adept ability for extreme sound manipulation and more than holds his own when it comes to wall-of-noise experimentation. It sounds dirty and it feels good.

One of the most prolific artists in the UK noise scene, BBBlood proves that even with 50+ releases under his belt he can still come up with the goods when it comes to abbrasive noise. Across his four tracks, BBBlood displays a well-honed knowledge of how to make atmospheric noise whilst being able to seamlessly traverse into all-out distortion worship. If the unsettling sounds of Bastard Noise float your boat then say hello to BBBlood and prepare your brain for meltdown.

Comes in slimline dvd cases featuring suitably tittilating artwork.

Ltd. to 100 hand-numbered copies.

DARKNESS
As The Last Star Falls From Heaven (cd-r)

Previously availabe as a self-release only some years ago, As The Last Star Falls From Heaven is a cold, nasty record from UKBM artist Darkness.

Writing and performing everything, Caranthir has crafted 5 tracks of raging, merciless black metal; primal riffs grind away with an understated sense of the grandiose lurking beneath whilst bass frequencies rumble along like rolling thunder on a bad fucking night. The bestial vocals howl and whip round like some wretched spawn summoned to wage war...on everyone... and to top it off the drums sound like round after round of heavy artillary being fired at all and sundry. Black metal is war? Total fucking war.

An unrelenting reign of fire, humanity is fucked. Burn the fucking lot. File alongside whatever you like, it doesn't matter. Darkness is Darkness, bleak, primitive and calculated. No pretense, no corpsepaint, no hope.

Packed in jewel cases with black bottomed discs, black-on-black slipcard and tray and printed insert.

Ltd. to 66 copies.

MARTIAL GOD MASK
Death's Head (C30)

First release for Martial God Mask and first cassette on DWR; one track per side - the first comprising 3 phases of harsh industrialized noise, the second being the final 4th phase, a 15min lo-fi noise wall. Mechanical waves of distortion churn away almost rhythmically as screeching high-end pierces through the metallic rumble.

Uncompromising.

On white cassettes in clear/white cases, b&w artwork.

Hand numbered and limited to 50 pieces.
